What happened to "The Ghoul"?

When this happens, it is generally because TCM wanted to show the film in question, but was unable to obtain it from whoever owns it. Sometimes they don't know until the last minute that the film won't be available. Sometimes the supplying studio just can't find it.

I, too, was disappointed not to be seeing The Ghoul. The good news is that it is available on dvd.

I downloaded the schedule on September 26, and Bedlam was already listed in the schedule for October 31 at 8:00 PM ET.

(So they must have changed the schedule at least five weeks ago.)

In this webarticle by Robert Osborne -

http://www.tcm.com/thismonth/article/?cid=183054&mainArticleId=182906

the schedule change is noted. And I read this article on the sixth of October.

Films are removed from the schedule for various reasons and sometimes it is very last minute. But in this instance the change to the schedule was done before the start of October.
