THE PORTRAIT OF PALMERIN

Recommended Posts

When I was a teenager I was not handsome as the term is usually understood; instead I was very girlish, with a very round cherubic face and very big innocent eyes.

Now that I'll turn 63 on 18 Sept 2017, and even though I wear a beard and moustache, I still look very girlish, with no wrinkles and barely a hint of bags under the eyes. When people try to guess my age based on my appearance, they either guess late forties, or at most, fifty.

I don't recall ever wishing for eternal youth in the presence of a mystic cat.

This belongs under chit-chat (at best).

As for eternal youth;  What about on the inside, where it really counts?    E.g. do you have the arteries of someone in their late 40s, or at most,  fifty?

Not according to Fernando here, James.

Remember...

"It's NOT how you FEEL, but how you LOOK!"

(...and so according to what Palmerin telling us about himself, he sounds as if he's still looking marvelous!)

My arteries and heart are all right; no risk of stroke. What plagues me terribly is that I lost my gall bladder to gallstones, and now I have such complaints as lactose intolerance, for which there is medication, and fructose intolerance, for which there is none. I miss Hawaiian pizza and peach cobbler so badly! :(

You sound stunning. I think they should get you to replace that creepy guy on the beer commercials who is supposed to be the most interesting man in the world.

Just a hint, my sisters tell me that don't enjoy going out with a man who talks about his fructose intolerance. For that matter my gay friends also don't want to date a man who talks about it. Hope that dating advice helps.
