Immigration Policy?

How U.S. citizens’ health could suffer under Trump’s new rule aimed at immigrants

"The Trump administration is scaling back public benefits for immigrants who are in the U.S. legally, but doing so may negatively affect the health and wellness of young American citizens, according to analysts.

On Monday, Ken Cuccinelli, acting director of the Citizenship and Immigration Services office, told reporters during a White House press briefing that this policy “encourages and ensures self-reliance and self-sufficiency” for those who want to settle permanently in the U.S.

Anyone who relies on one or more publicly funded social safety net benefits, such as Medicaid or food stamps, is known as a “public charge.” According to the rule, which is built off a 1996 law passed by Congress, if an immigrant applies for citizenship or a green card and is determined to be a public charge, that person could have their request rejected........

“Immigration officers will have the authority to punish immigrants for accessing services they are legally eligible for,” Noorani said to the PBS NewsHour. “The chilling effect will be much more widespread. It will undermine the health and well-being of families that include U.S. citizens.”

There are early signs that this is already happening...........

Another aspect that can impact people is that, in this climate of terrorizing immigrants, many will be afraid to go to seek help for illnesses , or to report or testify about crimes they witnessed.  Not seeking medical health can lead to breakouts of treatable diseases, or worse.

Illegal immigrants should return to their homeland for medical services and then stay there.

That’s not happening on any meaningful scale.

Of course not,  because thanks to the Dem party,  illegal immigrants have a sense of entitlement.    The Dems have convinced them that jobs, healthcare,  schooling for their illegal children,  driver licences,   etc... are something they are entitled to instead of deportation.

Companies raided by ICE knowingly hired undocumented workers, warrant suggests

"Newly unsealed search warrants suggest the companies targeted in last week's Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in Mississippi knowingly hired undocumented immigrants. The evidence against the five poultry companies includes instances of workers wearing "electronic monitoring ankle bracelets" like those federal authorities place on immigrants without work permits. Another worker who used an assumed name who was told to "quit and reapply."

During the raids, 680 workers were detained.

Employers can be fined up to nearly $20,000 per undocumented worker............

If the Trump admin doesn't go after these employers full-force than I'll be willing to concede the overall Trump tactics to combat illegal immigration are racially motivated.

He's not going after the employers because he is the employer.

Racially, politically and economically motivated.  He does it because it appeals to the racist in his base.  He does not go after the employers because they are his associates or major players in the Republican Party or at least business owners and managers who will vote Republican.

Related to border security the Feds found 4 tons of pot in a shipment of jalapenos from Mexico

What I found odd was the comment by this agent:

"I am proud of the officers for seizing this significant marijuana load," said Otay Mesa Port Director Rosa Hernandez in the press release. "Not only did they prevent the drugs from reaching our community, they also prevented millions of dollars of potential profit from making it into the hands of a transnational criminal

Uh,  pot is legal in CA.   So the comment of 'they prevent drugs from reaching our community' is lame.    But they did help the legal pot business here in CA (since the illegal market still thrives because state and local authorities set the taxes too high,  pushing consumers to the illegal market).

So Donald Trump, Stephen Miller and other Administration criminals against humanity keep trying to win the Soulless Limbo. They have sunk ever lower in their push to sow fear and terror in immigrant communities.  The Trump Administration has been sending letters to a special pool of families to self-deport in 33 days.  These are families that have been in the country under a deferred program to allow them to have their children receive medical treatment for serious, possibly fatal conditions, such as cystic fibrosis, cancers, etc.  Most of these will translate as death sentences if/when the children are deported.

One would’ve thought Trump, etc. couldn’t have come up with more cruelty than ripping children from their parents arms and locked indefinitely in cages.  But they keep trying!

ICE Confirms The End Of Medical Deferrals;

Mass. Delegation Urges Trump To Reconsider

.......USCIS said this change will only impact a limited number of people but, according to Marino, most of his affected clients are particularly vulnerable.

"That 'limited number of people' is mostly terminally ill kids. They're kids with cancer and HIV and horrific terminal illnesses," he said........

A US asylum officer quit in protest after he saw the US sending asylum seekers back to unsafe conditions in Mexico,

saying the process is "clearly designed to make individuals fail

and send everyone back without really giving them a fair shot."

Whistleblower: US violates international law by sending asylum seekers to Mexico

Many people seeking asylum at the southern U.S. border are being sent back to Mexico, where they face violence from both cartels and security forces.

A whistleblower from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement tells Alex Witt that the U.S. is violating the law by sending people with viable asylum claims back to a country where they are not safe.......

We're all illegal immigrants to Native Americans.

It appears you don't believe in the concept of a sovereign  nation \ state.

So should the USA get rid of the entire concept?  E.g. NO passports,  no borders.    Anyone from around the world can come and go as the please since the USA is no longer a sovereign nation (as well as everyone can vote in "our" elections,   or maybe just no elections since no national government?).

America i.e. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness is an awfully addicting IDEA. Who are you to say who can and cannot embrace it?

Forty-eight undocumented immigrants lift the lid on how they worked at 11 Trump properties for up to two decades telling of the President's love of Tic Tacs and Swiss face makeup and how he would give his father-in-law his hand-me-downs

  • The undocumented immigrants have come forward saying they worked for President Donald Trump and revealed his life behind the scenes
  • Former workers say the president has a love for Tic Tacs and uses face makeup made by the Swiss Bronx Colors brand
  • Trump also allegedly hands down his clothes to his father-in-law, Viktor Knavs
  • The president once 'expressed his displeasure when he saw Knavs wearing one of his old baseball hats on the golf course, yelling at him to take it off and leave'
  • The immigrants' tell-all provides an unvarnished look at Trump and his family, and shows how his stand on illegal immigration upended the lives of the workers

By RALPH R. ORTEGA FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

PUBLISHED: 23:58 EST, 4 December 2019 | UPDATED: 09:20 EST, 5 December 2019

Forty-eight undocumented immigrants have come forward saying they worked for Donald Trump before he was president.

The immigrants say they worked for Trump at 11 of his properties in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia for years, in some cases nearly two decades.

Their tell-all has provided a unique look into Trump's world, including his love for Tic Tacs, and use of orange face makeup, as well as his way of discarding old clothes which were handed-down to his father-in-law.

The immigrants' story also shows how Trump's stand against illegal immigration has upended the lives of the workers, reports the Washington Post. Many who spoke to the news outlet, were either fired or left their jobs after media reports came out about their employment.

trump hypocrisy laid bare--

It's rich people like trump who take advantage of illegal immigrants.

It's rich people like trump who want and need illegal immigrants in this country to do their dirty work.

*Hypocrisy may not be a big enough word for trump's cruel and barbaric policy on illegal immigrants.
