Bill Moyers says that he fears for the U.S. "for the first time in my long life." "A democracy can die of too many lies. And we're getting close to that terminal moment unless we reverse the obsession with lies that are being fed around the country."

My brain fears for America too, but my heart says we’ll survive this and learn from it so that we’re readier to stop the next tyrant wannabe — one who’s as evil as Trump but not such an idiot and thus even more dangerous.

Leaked Stephen Miller Emails to Breitbart Directed Race, Anti-Immigrant News Coverage

.........Miller's emails tout eugenics and white nationalist conspiracy theories and offer news tips to Breitbart on how to cover immigration and amplify stories about black and Hispanic crime.

Katie McHugh, the former Breitbart editor who leaked the emails to Hatewatch, told the SPLC that "what Stephen Miller sent to me in those emails has become policy at the Trump administration." McHugh, who publicly renounced her alt-right ties and beliefs in an interview with Buzzfeed News, was fired from Breitbart in 2017 for an anti-Muslim tweet.

Miller's conversations with McHugh and the Breitbart editors show him suggesting story ideas as well as directing the right-wing publication on how to report anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim news narratives.........

Stephen Miller emailed Breitbart 900+ times from 2015-2016 to lay out his anti-immigrant policies.

His source material included:

There's already enough material out there on trump to see how future Generations will view him.

In the future they'll be no debate or contest as to who was the worst US president ever.

But they say when you hit rock bottom, the only place to go is up.

The impeachment process will reveal whether Republicans will tolerate corruption, dishonesty, & avarice in our Nation’s highest office. If so, America’s political soul & global standing will be indelibly sullied, and
@realDonaldTrump will have destroyed the very heart of the GOP.

In all fairness the GOP has been on a downward spiral for decades.

But trump has hastened its demise by hammering those last few nails into the elephant's coffin.

The two witnesses in yesterday's impeachment hearing soberly shared facts. Republicans defended Trump with conspiracy theories, obfuscation and diversion.

Worse than Nixon--

In thrashing the Constitution trump wants to be on the level of Hitler and Mussolini.

He's vying for dictator status.

He's only in the White House now because of international interference in our domestic elections.

He's an illegal president who is now trying to destroy American democracy.

More and more this corrupt regime emulates the thugs who run places like Russian, China, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Junior Woodchuck autocrat Stephanie Grisham wants you to know, citizen, that you don't question your government. Your government questions you.

The last I looked this is still the United States of America.

And we still have the First Amendment freedom of speech.

Democracy is all about truth and hearing truth from our elected officials.

Any American grade school child can tell you that lying is bad because it will get you into trouble.

The readiness of Kevin McCarthy and other Republicans to believe a hoax story about Ukraine in order to protect Trump indicates how very ready they would have been to believe a hoax investigation of Joe Biden in order to re-elect Trump.

The extortion plot would have worked for Trump if the whistleblower had not alerted Congress. That's why Trump and the Republicans are so mad at the whistleblower: he or she ruined the plot at the very edge of success

I can understand how you want to shower praise on these unelected  bureaucrats who work in coordination to influence policies, but the history is showing extremely poor judgment. I think the potential for Trump to become even worse is if he takes the extra step as have the previous Presidents have done and follow their policy of intervention in the use of our military for regime change. Hillary was willing to admit she was wrong about Iraq but she was a strong supporter of regime change wars.

This is as bad as soliciting a bribe from the Ukrainian president. If the president, commander in chief doesn't stand up for military law, the signal it sends to our military is dangerous for them&America. We stand for rule of law, against torture, for the #GenevaConventions.
