I thought that would be an easy one. Okay, let's see...

The husband and wife have a visitor that night, but it isn't Santa Claus. It's a man with a gun. The gun goes off, like guns do. The husband is hit, but the bullet only grazes him. The next morning the couple open their presents and read the papers...

He: Oh, I'm a hero. I was shot twice in the Tribune.

She: I read where you were shot five times in the tabloids.

He: It's not true. He didn't come anywhere near my tabloids.
