Ohhh, poor little kitty. Cat's need all nine of their lives to survive the streets of New York. And that's just taking into account the size of the rats they have to face. :P

You're kidding about the gators, right? They don't actually come into the canals do they?

I have a feeling my Pyewacket is still out there somewhere.....in the dark.....waiting......waiting....

to come back to me.

Unfortunately my complex doesn't allow animals.

A bird or goldfish, maybe.

Or an alligator.

Unfortunately I'm NOT joking about the alligators in the canals around my area.

This canal is five minutes from where I live. I never walk on that side of the street.

Alligators have been known to slither out of them and are attracted sometimes by the smell of barbeque and many times by the smell of puppies and kittens.

I only wish I were kidding.

A Warm Hitch Good Evening to you, Bronxie! --Hey, Scott!

Yes, Barb?

''FRANKIE, YOUR MOTHER FORGIVES ME!"

This is a Pappy quiz: What Ford movie is this from?

I haven't seen that one yet but I do have it on DVD. I think I'm really going to

like it, too. How Green was my Quiet Informer Man Frankie?

If you guess it correctly, I'll send you an inflatable Gloria Grahame doll.

Is it that obvious that I'm that desperate? :P

Yes, my little Pyewacket. I didn't have him long, however. He was terribly skittish, and eventually ran away, out the door and into the Bronx night.

Let me guess, it was a male cat. :P We need to talk to you about chasing men away,

Bronxie. Rule #1: Play dumb.

Bonjour, Wicked Witch of the East -- Now what were you saying, Frank? You should start to feel drowsy soon....just relax....

That's unfair! You know that I am defenseless against those two kittens.

Movie? What movie? That's a picture of me and my cat...ahhh, Bronxie's cat.

:D:P You are evil!

Hiya, ButtersweetGLORIA -- yes too much cheese in him, bab idea! i think your idea is perfect!! yes we will tie his neck to the chair so his head will stay straight and that way he will have to watch pride and prejudice! but it cant be just any version...it has to be greer's and larry's!

You play rough! The only thing worse than watching Greer Garson films is watching Gary Cooper films. And if anyone names them as their very favorite actress and actor, I feel sorry for them. What a sad case they are. They must have bumped their head and lost their memory.

yes frankiefurter, lay back, there you go.....now shut your eyes.

I plan to. I'm not going to watch your trashy films.

now how could i stay away from sweet april! she didnt do anything worth of that torture!

Sweet who? Whoever that witch is, she has a spell on you.

where did gloria come from?

There is only one Gloria, ButterscotchGRACE.

And may sweet fairies greet you in the land of Nod, MissT.

Don't worry about Frankie---if the spell hasn't taken effect then I'll bet he's still licking off the chocolate frosting.

Yikes! Are you and Duane planning on making your home in the neighborhood? Does he like to barbeque? Is the wedding to take place there? Because if it is, I could use a new suitcase....

Oh my goodness! Have you ever actually seen one up close like that? That is scary. You know you can see their eyes at night, like cat's eyes. Have you ever seen a baby alligator? They are so cute, the wee little things. I know, I'm crazy.

The future Mrs. Doberman and her Duane will not stay in Florida. They will make their residences in Chicago, upstate New York, Maine, Montana and Scotland.

Far away from alligators.

No, I too love baby alligators; they're adorable. (the only reptiles that aren't are baby snakes -- UGH) We have a million little geckos and anoles and other lizards running around here and I adore them; they are like tiny dinosaurs.

Wow, I'm impressed. I hope all these houses have plenty of guest rooms. For guests. ;)

Maine, hmmm? Be sure to visit the campus in Portland and take a picture at Pappy's statue for me.

Yes, I saw the link and responded to it. I can't believe it!

You just have no appreciation. They are sweet, precious little darlings.

How cute! I know, they are like mini-dinos. I used to see them in Texas alot (snakes, too) but not since (outside of a zoo). Lizards eat bugs so I'm not bothered by them---it's the bugs that bug me.

You will all be invited for fun-filled weekends! Choose your location.

I've vacationed in Boothbay Harbor for several summers (and I subscribe to Down East Magazine) but I've never been to Portland. Wow -- Pappy has a statue -- that is really fantastic!!

I must have been an old salt in a previous lifetime. My living room has a nautical feel, with pictures of lighthouses. I have model ships and hurricane lamps scattered about.

You are correct, sir!

Give that man a Gloria doll! (hey, I've got a Stuart Whitman doll in my closet waiting to be....oops, sorry)

Ah, we're all desperate; just a matter of degree, LOL.

I love nautical style decor, very nice indeed! You really are Captain Gregg's soul-mate! Do you have his portrait hanging in your bedroom? ;)

I've never been to Maine but I must admit the movies have made it seem interesting. What do you do up there on holiday (I sound like Rita now in Separate Tables)?
