Moviebuffer12
If you died and went to heaven but could go back to earth as any character in a movie, which one would you be? And you could have all of his abilities and everything that you see of him in the movie. I would be Rhett Butler of Gone With the Wind. What about you? MissGoddess
That's an intriguing question and I'll have to think about it. I do know that I want to choose to come back as the happiest, most beloved, prettiest and richest character in movies. Who that is I'm not yet sure, ha! Maybe Irene Bullock from My Man Godfrey. Bronxgirl48
Lassie. True, I'd have to go through hardships (trekking through the mud, dealing with unpleasant humans) but eventually I'd find my way home to people who loved me, and I'd spend most of my days nestled contendedly by the hearth surrounded by friends and family in some quaint Scottish village, occasionally doing heroic deeds like rescuing neighbors who fall down wells. scsu1975
Either Robin Hood or Zorro ... I like the idea of helping out the oppressed, and getting a good-looking girl in the bargain
CineMaven
Linda Darnell was a beaut, wasn't she? I would love to come back as James Bond. Well...isn't it obvious?
sandykaypax
Esther Smith (Judy Garland) in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. I'd get to sing like Judy, have gorgeous long red hair, live in that spectacular Victorian house, and have a wonderful, charming family. Jackamerack
I would want to come back as Tracy Lord (Katherine Hepburn) in the Philadelphia Story. I already have the red hair! All that money, the kooky family and three men in love with you at one time. & That two of them are Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart gets extra points! & Ralph Bellamy wasn't bad looking back then either.... Shasta66
I'd like to be Nora Charles (Myrna Loy) in the Thin Man Series. She is so quick-witted and nothing really rattles her. I love the banter between her and Nick. Well, I think I'll have a martini now
FrankGrimes
Second Runner-Up: T.R. Devlin (Cary Grant) in Notorious First Runner-Up: O'Hara (Cary Cooper) in The General Died at Dawn But my choice would be Geoff Carter (Cary Grant) in Only Angels Have Wings
MissGoddess
Points for you and your first runner up, Cary Cooper.
FrankGrimes
Cary Cooper. Do you really think I could type the name "Gary Coo..." as one of my choices? Plus, I'm always choosing a Cary character to be. By the way, do you have any towels? This guy wants to talk to you:

FrankGrimes
Hi, Sugarbritches O'Shea -- Interesting choices Frank. Thank you. I'm gonna try to think up another one and not have it be a "Cary. " I'm not familiar with this Cary Cooper guy. Has he been in any films I've heard of? Cary is the talented Cooper brother. That should get me on your good side, right? Sugarpuss O'Shea is one of my favorite film characters. You've made an excellent choice. I thought you would have chosen Dominique Francon. Nice outfit, by the way. Hey there, Irene -- Is it me or does Polly look like she's enjoying herself in that picture? It's just you... it usually is. So you're warming up to this Max Cady guy now, huh? coopsgirl
Okay, now that I have thought it over I change my answer to *Dominque Francon*. First you get to watch Gary doing manual labor. Next you lure him into your bedroom under the guise of "fixing the broken fireplace". Then you let him have his way with you. Thanks for the suggestion Frank/Scott (ha!). FrankGrimes
Plus, you can live together forever since you never finish the film. Love those pics!

FrankGrimes
Hey, Ava Lady -- My pick would the beautiful, mysterious, and devilishly dangerous femme fatale -Kitty Collins from The Killers Excellent choice. Can I hang out with you? Tentacled Her Enslaves Men (sounds like you) -- I would form part of their colony to terrorize humans and create hideous sounds. Aren't you doing this already in this life, or is it that you are doing this just to me?

Lauren21
I thought of another reason to be Kitty, she was able to get her hands on Burt Lancaster while wearing that wonderful black dress. No wonder she was able to get him to trust her.
