pauladrew
My mailbox is full of e-mail messages from TCM. This happened once before. Please help.
CineMaven
I think you might've clicked onto Watch This Thread. Not a great feature 'cuz it will clog up your e-mail. I'm not sure how you get out of that feature. Good luck.
FredCDobbs
Right. When someone is signed on, they can see a statement just above a thread or a forum list page that says "watch this thread" or "watch this forum". There is a small binoculars logo beside that statement. A person can click those statements on and off, and when off that stops the emails. I think when they are on they say something like "stop watching this thread" or "forum". Click on that and that turns the email function off. CineSage_jr
Funny, all I see through the binoculars is Raymond Burr burying a little dog in my apartment building's courtyard...
talkietime
Later Raymond went to law school and set up a sucessful law practice in LA; later became the police chief of SF; got wounded and became a consulting detective; later went back into practicing law; and founded a winery. More recently he's got a performing arts center in a suburb of Vancouver BC. Haven't heard much from Ray lately.
CineMaven
Why, isn't Ray on that new tv show "Pushing Up Daisies"?? I also remember him as a lawyer convicting a handsome tortured young man who let his girlfriend fall overboard a canoe and drown. What an 'oarsman.' ChiO
The handsome tortured young man needed James Stewart (or, at least, E.G. Marshall and Robert Reed).
