scsu1975
I've seen it a few times, and it is quite good. I first learned about it from "Famous Monsters of Filmland." Bronxgirl48
One of the best little horror movies ever made. Very spooky; I love the colonial American inn where Venetia (unfortunately) stops by. Lee is too hammy here for my taste. Patricia Jessel is very frightening as the witch. A great performance! scsu1975
One of the biggest surprises in this movie is what happens to the "heroine," if you will .. in the scene right before the cake is cut Pretty Venetia Stevenson .... looks like she went into producing later in her career. Wonder what she is doing these days.
Bronxgirl48
We won't give it away, but the plot goes off without a "hitch", doesn't it? Don't know what's up with Venetia, but producing was no doubt a smart move in that dog-eat-dog world of physical appearances.
