magnavoice
hi I'm new so bear with me. my names Jeff. I watch TCM just like you. About film preservation: Hollywood missed the boat. I mean they waited too long. We should have had a TCM in the 70's. We could use another TCM actually maybe one with ads but just say one ad break per movie. This is just gossip. But look how the Val Lewton pix are just being seen now. Its 20 years too late. People are too old to care. I heard ssssshhhh that they found 1000s of films in a mans house in L.A. that were stolen from the studios! He had been taking one a week for years. Could that be the problem? tracking down negatives that were stolen? they'd have to buy them back.
