jhouchin
Hello, Many years ago I recorded White Christmas on TCM. I frequently start recording a minute early. I happened to catch a scene of an old movie which has pestered my family for years. It is an old movie, black and white, possibly 30 or 40s? Just a guess. Here are the details I have. Movie??? People kneeling as at a Mass. It is seemingly as if everyone is mourning a death. They are possibly at a funeral mass or some such service. Woman handing rose to man. Another man gets the woman (a young woman) and leaves with her. The only words spoken in the segment I have are the man speaking "Come ????". It is at the beginning of the tape and is no longer in good enough condition to understand the name. The man still sitting/kneeling smells rose. Priest holds rose contemplatively. Priest enters chapel where small group of people are kneeling. He kneels. Orchestra comes on and show ends. No credits. The rest of the line up for the evening. Little Shop Around the Corner It happened at the world's fair 1963 live a little, love a little 1968 daddy long legs 1919 The movie looks interesting and I would quite possibly like to watch it if I can find out what the movie is. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jimmie
dianabat
It's been a long time since I've seen John Ford's The Fugitive, but as I remember it the ending is similar to the bit you've recorded. You can find more info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0039402/ Di
