leobertucelli
the one singer who sang the title song to the most films were (to me anyway) Vic Damone. I recall Perry Como snag a few as did Al Martino, but none as frequent as Vic Damone. What do U think? Or perhaps, you don't,,,,,,
joefilmone
Never gave it much thought - but I do love the guy who sings the theme to "Imitation of Life".
leobertucelli
Yes, but who was it? Would U know?
movieman1957
If you mean on the film itself Frankie Lane probably sang as many as anybody. After that many of them sound alike. I remember seeing the likes of Vaughan Monroe and Matt Munro singing a few. As far as general recordings everyone from Andy Williams to Robert Goulet to John Gary and Johnny Mathis recorded all of those great 50's films songs.
