Speaker Pelosi on stimulus bill: "When they came out with their bill, it was trickle down. Our bill is bubble up. And I think we're finding a place where there's a recognition that we have to ...take care of our workers if our economy is going to survive."

The GOP McConnell plan was just tax rebates for individual Americans-- if you didn't pay tax you got nothing.

Paid a little, you got a little more than nothing.

It was heavy on the corporate bailouts and heavy on giving the employers the money over the workers.

I understand the GOP is partial to their own kind, but that's not the best way to work a stimulus package in a recession that's on the way to being a depression.

I can't imagine why anyone who is not wealthy or at least very well to do would ever vote Republican.

It's a fat cat party who tells the rest of Americans to go to hell.

Make no mistake about it--

The Congressional Democrats led by Schumer, Pelosi, Warren, and others were the advocates for all these different diverse groups of average  working mainstream Americans who are going to benefit from this package.

Make no mistake about it--

McConnell and the GOP advocated for the corporations-- Boeing, the airline industry, the hotel and hospitality industry--

And in the middle of all that Lindsey Graham thought the workers were being compensated with too much  unemployment compensation.

Why people who work for a living  vote Republican is a mystery to me?

As America's governors are distressed and disappointed about the lack of federal leadership of the executive branch during the pandemic crisis,

Speaker Nancy Pelosi has come forward into that leadership void at this time--

to give the American people the organization and oversight that we so crucially need.

What is wrong with men?

Since a decade before the millennium, more women have been college-educated than men.

Also, women, logically, don't want to vote for a misogynist.

Seven countries' female leaders effectively managing the coronavirus crisis

Political Leaders Showing the Way

 20-FIRST

Looking for examples of true leadership in a crisis? From Iceland to Taiwan and from Germany to New Zealand, women are stepping up to show the world how to manage a messy patch for our human family. Add in Finland, Iceland and Denmark, and this pandemic is revealing that women have what it takes when the heat rises in our Houses of State. Many will say these are small countries, or islands, or other exceptions. But Germany is large and leading, and the UK is an island with very different outcomes. These leaders are gifting us an attractive alternative way of wielding power. What are they teaching us?

.....................

Sadly, one male world leader, the UK's prime minister Boris Johnson didn't take the pandemic seriously enough at the beginning oh, so that they are having a dreadful outcome in the UK.

And on a personal level, Johnson first scoffed at social distancing, only to find himself at death's door with the virus himself. According to him he almost died.

And then there's trump.....

So Princess what do you think about this claim against Joe Biden;

WASHINGTON – A former aide to Joe Biden accused the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee of sexually assaulting her during the early 1990s when he was a senator. Biden’s campaign denied the allegations.

In two interviews with The Associated Press, Tara Reade alleged the assault occurred in the basement of a Capitol Hill office building in the spring of 1993. She filed a police report in Washington on Thursday saying she was the victim of a sexual assault by an unnamed person in 1993, a copy of which was obtained by the AP.

It’s not the first time Reade has made an accusation against the former vice president. Last year, Reade publicly accused Biden of inappropriate touching but did not allege sexual assault.

(it appears a lot of women in power in the Dem party are NOT responding but instead just ignoring this).
