Bogie56
36 Quai Des Orfevres or 36th Precinct (2004) Olivier Marchal, France. Two cops vie to become the next chief of police by cracking a big case. The competition begins to spin out of control. It is by no means a great film and at times seems a bit incredible but it does feature two great actors: Gerard Depardieu and Daniel Auteuil.

Bogie56
I had forgotten that originally this is really a foreign language film though the version that is available to most of us and the one that I saw was narrated by Morgan Freeman. I will always remember one particular thing about seeing this film. I had taken my young grandson to see it and as the film began and we hit about the fourth production company credit he declared "I'm bored."
