Sukhov
Frostbite - This Swedish Horror-Comedy was directed by Anders Banke. During WWII, a group of Swedish SS volunteers comes across a seemingly abandoned cabin in Ukraine where they are attacked by vampires. After being bitten, a soldier returns home now intent on creating a vampire master race. Decades later, his plans begin unfolding which spells doom for the Swedish village. This film has some very funny scenes with a talking dog and handles both humor and horror very well. It is really more of a comedy though it does have some jump scares and gore so beware if you're put off by that kind of thing. Recommended.

I've seen this happen before when I've posted pics that you or others can't see, or as with Sepiatone, whose computer seems incapable of displaying most pictures. I wonder what causes it? Maybe it's related to my slowly dying laptop. I'm supposed to be receiving a new one this afternoon. Maybe that will fix things.

Bogie56
I liked Masayuki Suo's I Just Didn't Do It (2006). I begins as a fairly predictable story about a young man who is falsely accused of a crime, in this case groping another teenager on a crowded train. Apparently this happens a lot in Japan. But when evidence turns up that exonerates the young man it takes a turn and becomes a Kafkaesque nightmare. The Japanese court which has already pronounced judgment cannot be shamed so the ongoing legal battle no longer is a search for the truth. Quite interesting.
