MilesArcher
The song is "The Windmills Of Your Mind" from the 1968 film "The Thomas Crown Affair". Music was by Michel Legrand with lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. It was sung in the original score by Noel Harrison and it won the Oscar for best original song that year. Curiously, the previous year's best song was "Talk To The Animals" from "Dr. Doolittle" and it was sung by Rex Harrison, the father of Noel. Here is Noel Harrison with the song:
BagelOnAPlateOfOnionRolls
Yes! I like both Noel Harrison's version of "The Windmills Of Your Mind" and Dusty Springfield's recording from her Dusty In Memphis album. Good job, Miles Archer. It's your turn. "Love With All The Trimmings" was featured in the movie but was not part of the original stage production. The song was added to the 2011 Broadway revival of the play. It was also featured in an episode of the new Netflix series The Politician. In the clip below, the entrance of Melinda (Barbra Streisand) is underscored by Burton Lane's lovely melody for "Tosy and Cosh," a song from the original stage production that was not used in the movie.
