Smack
I tuned in to a movie on Christmas day that was listed as "Three Godfathers" I only saw the last few minutes, but judging by the movie description, I think it may have been a different movie. The movie that was playing appeared to be circa 30s that took place in the desert SW(guessing) at Christmas time and featured an Italian American Inn keeper who was taught the meaning of Christmas by his guests. When I tuned in he had just lit a large/tall multi bulb star that was to serve as a beacon for his Inn and was also a metaphor for the star of Bethlehem. It seemed like a pretty cool Christmas story, that I've never seen before. But again, it didn't seem to be Three Godfathers(which I haven't seen either) judging by the description. Does anyone know? scsu1975
That was a short subject starring J. Carrol Naish as the innkeeper ... a modern version of the nativity story called "Star in the Night." http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/title.jsp?stid=490846 And welcome to the forums.
