Pre-Code Gallery

Recommended Posts

It was with regret that I pulled the plug on the last Pre-Code Gallery so here's a place to post those wonderful pre-code pics!

I don't plan on my same level of participation as last time so everyone feel free to post your pics.

Let's try to keep them from the Pre-Code era and avoid watermarks and screencaps, please.

Thanks Scottman. It's not in the greatest condition as you can see.

Wait 'til you see this next one I just came across - it really blew me away!

Snorky: Thanks for the Fay Wray photo. I've been collecting stills, since my high school days in the 60's, Of Fay, Lombard, Harlow, Stanwyck. This is the prettiest, sexiest Fay photo I've ever seen. I've collected her TV work on DVD as well as her films, few of which are available. Hope

TCM elects to air some of 'em. Also twist a few arms at UCLA regarding "Thunderbolt", "Captain Thunder", Madam Spy" and "Legion of the Condemned"

Hi mdffyx ,

High praise for that pic indeed. Glad you liked it.

I think I have another autographed one of her I'll have to look up.

I posted a lot of Fay Wray pictures for her 100th birthday on the old pre-code

and picture gallery threads a few months back.

(Unfortunately, I had to remove all those pics).

TCM also aired quite a few of her movies at the time.

Well, here's to more Fay Wray movies on DVD!

In the meanwhile here's a lobby card from one of the movies you mentioned.

Posting photos here seems like quite the complicated process.Have a few to post if I can learn the process. In the meantime I'll look to posts by Snorky.

Thanks. Just insert the picture URL or address into the following code as in this example:

<img src=http://www.collectible.com/imagesmc2/522-001.jpg>

Or if using photobucket just copy the HTML tag line.

You can send a PM to yourself to practice before posting if you like.

Good luck!

Oops, I guess this one's autographed by Ralph Bellamy not Fay Wray.
