kimpunkrock
Flight Angels is a prime example of why I love classic Hollywood and TCM. It is classic Hollywood fare that was typical of the 30's and 40's. Dennis Morgan is good as was Virgina Bruce. Ralph Bellamy is always good as a supporting actor. I love the flying pictures of the 30's and 40's. The scene when he loses consciousness is a little far-fetched, but this movie is classic and entertaining. Perfect for that Saturday night date of yesteryear.

redriver
I like Howard Hawks AIR FORCE. Not a great movie. But an effective ensemble piece that makes you feel for the characters. I WANTED WINGS is fun. Ray Milland and a very young William Holden. I'd love to see WINGED VICTORY. Based on Moss Hart's WW2 play. I don't know the play. Nor have I read particularly good things about the movie. But I'm a fan of the author, and usually enjoy his work.
