Terry_W
Yes, wonderful director and films. I just got the Antoine Doinel set today and look forward to viewing the followups to The 400 Blows. Mississippi Mermaid is coming to TCM later this month and The 400 Blows for Oscar month. Now if only we could get Two English Girls. -- Terry Wallace

laffite
Les Mistons (The Brats), a short film, only 18 minutes long, showed up on a local college station. Anyone seen it? Five early teen boys spy on an attractive young woman and her boyfriend. In voice over one of the boys is speaking as an adult and the brief story comes across as a reminiscence. In an early episode the five boys follow the girl as she rides her bicycle to go for a swim in the lake. But instead of trying to catch a glimpse of her nude in the lake they take turns sniffing her bicycle seat. The whole thing comes across as a charming coming-of-age riff on growing up.
