Moviebuffer12
Consider this a sequel to my Last Forum: http://forums.tcm.com/jive/tcm/thread.jspa?threadID=120741&tstart=0 I think the most underated people in film are: Martin Balsam and the Zucker Brothers. What about you?
gomarx
Paul Muni and Glenn Ford. Never mentioned when it comes to quality actors and their roles. I also think Richard Widmark is underrated.

Poinciana
When I saw this Thread I immediately thought of Glenn Ford. Could anyone do comedy "befuddled" better than Glenn? Think The Gazebo and Teahouse. Agree abt Widmark too. Honorable mention to one of my all-time favs, Jack Warden.
skimpole
Considering that "Make Way for Tomorrow" is completely unavailable on either video or DVD, I would see Leo McCarey doesn't get enough respect.
precoder
Betty Hutton ... a tremendously talented performer but sadly under-exposed ... Same thing with Laura La Plante ... Jessie Matthews still barely gets a notice ... I think she's just great in every facet ... I agree with William Haines. Now that I've seen him in five films, I can like totally say that ... MGMMayer
Frank Morgan. Most people think of him playing those blustery buffoons, but I've seen him play some serious roles and give excellent performances which were surprisingly impressive.
