Then, I found a page with rare scans from papers from the province of Santa Fe. Since I was only once in that province, and being at an extreme young age, the following images are as a revelation as to most of you. A 1928 ad for the movie theaters of exhibitor Ricardo Graells, in the city of Santa Fe (Sociedad General Cinematogr?**** was an local distributor of American films, the very first one, that ceased to exist in 1930 after RIO RITA was a disastrous flop): A special program for Friday, May 25 (Argentina's National Holiday), 1928. The names of the actors reveal the English language titles of the translations. However, FEDERALES Y UNITARIOS is a lost Argentine production from 1917: A program from Cine Paris; thursdays were devoted to the Fox Film Corporation while fridays to Paramount Pictures: A 1914 absolute rarity: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
