Mooseman
I am really having trouble finding this movie. A woman is accused of murder and is being framed by several people who lie so effectively that she is eventually driven insane because no one believes her. She is eventally vindicated, but is extremely fragile emotionally at the end of the film. Seems very similar to "The Woman is Accused" which is a 1933 movie with Cary Grant, but in that movie, the woman actually commits the murder but gets off at the end. I actually thought Grant was in this picture I am looking for. I also thought Jane Wyman was the star and that perhaps Gloria Grahame played a small supporting role. No amount of cross referencing is bringing up anything. Please help
dianabat
Could it be The Secret Fury with Claudette Colbert and Robert Ryan? It has some of the elements you mention. You can find more info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042935/ Di
Mooseman
That is the Movie! Thank you!! I was going as crazy as Colbet trying to figure it out. Moral of this movie is "just because you're not paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you".
