Guest
Neat little morality play about a respectable couple--Norma Talmadge and Ralph Lewis--whose shady past is exposed when a former partner in crime--Eugene Pallette--gets out of prison and tries to coerce them into robbing a mansion. Only 60 minutes but well done little film. Talmadge is quite beautiful here in 1916, still a few years away from her period of super-stardom. Lewis is solid, and Pallette is quite good as the rotten Briggs. Quite interesting to see Pallette years before his success as a rotund character actor in talkies.....
