twocatsleft
I saw this old b/w film in 1998 on a cable movie channel. I can't remember title. I think it had the word "hill" and/or "murder" in it. A women convicted of murder is on her way to execution (in the UK???). A flood strands the party at castle like building. While there, a nun looks through old newspapers and finds proof of the woman's innocence (a real Charlie Chan type mystery). I have never seen it listed anywhere again. It was GREAT. Can anyone help with the title? Ashamed to say I think it was on AMC before their programming took the deep six. Thanks!

twocatsleft
YES YES YES. Thank you so very much. I was down with a kidney stone at the time, and could never tell if the film was real or a dream. Now the hunt begins.....
