What this next one lacks in musicality, it makes up for in just raucousness:

The Blues Brothers!! Dig it! (Er, were they still using that expression in 1978?) ;)

"Soul Man"

(FYI, with this video clip, there is text describing how the Blues Brothers came into being. Interesting read. Click on "Show More" under the picture.)

THE BLUES BROTHERS film is a favorite of mine. I searched YouTube, but was unable to find a clip of Elwood singing "She Caught The Katy", so how about the original by Taj Mahal:

The guy from Genesis, wasn't it? Um... not Phil Collins... um, the other one. He's taller than Phil. That guy.

I feel obliged to mention my favorite Rod Stewart song-----the title track from "Every Picture Tells a Story"----(My body stunk but I kept my funk)

Now here's an artist with a gritty voice that I like a lot!

A friend once said, disparagingly, that Stevie Nicks "sounds like a goat". Eh, what does she know?

This is a great, great song......, and the only Fleetwood Mac songs I really like are the ones with Stevie up front----e.g., "Gold Dust Woman"
