You're very welcome.

You know, I've purchased that album no less than 4 times in my life - twice on vinyl and twice on cd. The 2001 re-master was a significant improvement in sound quality over the first cd issue. Still the best solo album by any Beatle ever - followed by Lennon's primal-scream album of the same year (1970).

This was one of my favorites:

It that Leon Russell on piano?

In memory of the great Jack Bruce.

My dad drove my older sister and me to a sports arena to see Cream in 1968 or so.  He waited for us outside in the parking lot.  I think it was even a school night.

The four Cream songs on my ipod are Badge, Swlabr, I'm So Glad, and Crossroads.

Thanks, GayDivorcee.  You helped me make a connection I had wondered about for years..Note the :55 mark..

I'm glad the connection has been made!  I discovered the song in Jim Jarmusch's Stranger Than Paradise where it's played over and over by one of the characters.

Don't forget 'Bloodletting' by Concrete Blonde. As Halloween songs go, it beats all of those.

In her cage she danced for him although a hundred eyes were turned her way.

  • 2 weeks later...

From the file of forgotten chart records of the past, here's one from 1970 by Vic Dana.

I remember that it would peculiarly be played on Toronto's CHUM station every day between 4:30 and 5:00 pm - as I was on my way home from work - for a couple of weeks, until it disappeared.

For whatever reason, I've always had a real affection for minor-chord masterpieces like this. This peaked at #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

DGF, I tried to find what you were asking about, but did not come up with anything that fit your description (there were several songs titled "Here We Go Again", but not with that as the first line.)

I love this song. I'll be Your Baby Tonight. Love the melody, the relaxed sound it has, the country guitars. Bring that bottle over here.
