My latest two-song soundtrack take is from Another Cinderella Story with *Selena Gomez*:

1. *Selena Gomez* - Tell Me Something I Don't Know

2. *Tiffany Giardin* - Hurry Up and Save Me

Selena joined best friend *Demi Lovato* on this last week's

Sonny With A Chance. A great send-up of their own characters

and other Disney shows when they change places mocking each other.

It's obvious they're having a blast working together!

In another scene Selena's finally had enough and exclaims,

"I don't need this; I was in "Camp Hip-Hop""!

Selena and Demi's character, Sonny, are at each others' throats

up 'til then but as soon as Selena leaves

Demi smiles and says sweetly, "Aww, she seems nice.

Maybe I should call her."

Chad: Why? Ya gonna become BFFs with Selena Gomez?

Sonny: It could happen!

The show wraps up with Selena doing a "Camp Hip-Hop" spoof.

It's part of the run-up to Disney's release of Princess Protection Program,

a movie starring *Demi Lovato* and *Selena Gomez*.

Happy to report those craving more Demi Lovato

can pick up the Disney CD, Disney Channel Playlist,

containing two new songs by her including the Sonny with a Chance theme song,

"So Far So Great", which follows in the China Forbes - Ordinary Girl tradition

by delivering a bit more than the short clip used for broadcast.

Selena Gomez also sings two songs including the theme to her show.

An impressive soundtrack rendition performed by the The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, btw.

Just found out Demi has a new album out later this month!

The aptly titled, "Here We Go Again" also includes the

Sonny With A Chance theme song, "So Far So Great".

The Snork's not waiting for the deluxe edition to purchase this one. : )

Oh, yes, she played it over and over and over again when she found it! I don't let her watch videos, but since it was in her recital, I thought I would check it out on youtube. I looked at it first and told her she could see it and then she wanted to post it! She completely forgot about it after that, and I haven't reminded her....I have to admit that I am now thoroughly sick of the song.....

She usually likes anyone who is blonde, since she is too. She thought you were great on the guest programming event!

I enjoy a wide range of music - classical (including Opera), big band, easy listening, jazz, rock, and even some pop. I can find something to like in pretty much any genre except for rap, which I cannot STAND. My likes are also somewhat limited among country music listings as well, but I do like a couple of country artists, anyway.

*Classical* - I am particularly partial to Mozart and Rachmaninov, but other favorites include Liszt, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, and several others. My favorite pieces of instrumental classical music are:

Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto #2 in C Minor - This is my all-time favorite. Music doesn't get any more passionate than this!

Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in E-Flat K 364

Dvorak's Cello Concerto in B Minor

Mendelssohn's Symphony #4 in A Major - "Italian"

Mendelssohn's Overture "The Hebrides"

Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D Op 61

Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto #1

Barber's Adagio for Strings

My favorite vocal/Operatic music:

Mozart's Requiem

Mozart's Don Giovanni K 527

*Rock* - my favorite rock, classic rock & pop artists are:

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Pearl Jam

The Tragically Hip

Dan Fogelberg

Others I really like alot are:

Bon Jovi

The Police/Sting

Alanis Morissette

Journey

REM

The GooGoo Dolls

Daughtry

Matchbox 20

Fleetwood Mac

James Taylor

Janis Joplin

*Country* - I only like two country artists. They are:

Garth Brooks

The Dixie Chicks

*Big Band* - mostly really love Glenn Miller

*Easy Listening* - who else? Frank Sinatra! All others are pretenders!

Unbelievably cute! Has she ever seen Gentlemen Prefer Blondes? When I used

to babysit my friend's daughter when she was six or seven, she ADORED that movie---but

her favorite was "Dorothy" (Jane Russell) because she's a brunette, ha!

Wow, PK, I'm impressed. If I know the name of the composer of

a piece of classical music I think I'm doing good. Movieman1957 will

be in ecstasy when he sees your list. He loves classical. I do, too,

but I am embarrassed at my lack of knowlege---and I grew up in a house

where both my parents were passionate about it.

Easy Listening - who else? Frank Sinatra! All others are pretenders!

Now you're talking my language! :D
