aylasgram
This movie must be from the 40s or earlier - I saw it on daytime tv maybe 50 years ago. I'm thinking it was B&W, but that's all tv was then. Anyway, all I remember is a nightclub scene: the band was playing Beyond the Sea and people were dancing. I've loved the song ever since. Thanks if anyone can help.
vallo13
I think the film was "Every Girl Should Be Married" 1948 but, this was an English translation of "La Mer," a French song from the 1940s originally recorded by Charles Trenet. classicdnldy
Don't know the title of the movie , if that's what you want, but the song is "Somewhere, beyond the sea"And did you know that Bobby Darin, the singer from the (I think) late 50s did a jazzed up version of it?Mon Dieu!
