Philip Kaufman's 1978 had its moments and brought some creepy new fx. This new take adds nothing new except for an overtly political message and instead of those pods from space we get a virus spread by vomiting ?! Yes thats right VOMITING alien invaders. TripleHHH Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Yeah I have to say I really hate puking scenes too, and this film is full of them from what I read, so I think I will pass on the Invasion Besides the Kevin McCarthy and Donald Sutherland versions are untouchable to me, 2 of the best The Body Snatchers I liked as well actually...
