Glenn Ford / George Marshall box set badly needed.

Director George Marshall and Glenn Ford made some of the best and funniest movies of both their careers. While not as well known as Anthony Mann/James Stewart or Randolph Scott/Budd Boetticher the pair made a succession of very funny films starting with one of the best westerns of all times---The Sheepman. After The Sheepman came Imitation General (58), It started with a kiss (59), the very, very funny movie called The Gazebo (59), Cry For Happy (61) and then Advance to the Rear (64).

The Sheepman, The Gazebo and Advance to the Rear are some of the funniest movies of that time with excellent performances by Glenn Ford. Sadly none of these films are on DVD, but TCM plays them from time to time. Luckily I have 2 of them burned to DVD from TCM.

I think a box set with all or most of their films is way over due.

A Glenn Ford signature collection is also overdue for a release.

Another movie that George Marshall and Glenn Ford made was Texas with William Holden. This movie was made very early in both actors careers. Marshall and Ford did not make another movie until The Sheepman in 1958.
