twine
I am trying to track down the title of a movie that I have seen on TCM, albeit, many years ago. From the '30's, if I recall, it is the story of a very old couple, celebrating their wedding anniversary in New York City. I recall little other details, but it has stuck in my mind for many years. Does anyone recall the title. I think it was one of Robert Osbourne's favs. Thanks for any and all help.
UnattendedBag
Sounds like it could be Make Way for Tomorrow, with Beulah Bondi and Victor Moore. There's a brief synopsis at IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0029192/ (If this is the one, I agree, it's a sweet, somewhat poignant little film.) danthemoviefan
I'm not sure if TCM has aired it, but a user comment on IMDb says that AMC showed it frequently in the '90s. The person even lists the first and last airdates of the film on AMC.
