next:  A movie you saw because someone recommended it to you . . . and after watching it you were thinking ". . . they thought this was a good movie?  Sheesh!"

A TASTE OF HONEY (1961-UK)

I thought it would be mushy and/or overly sentimental.  And it wasn't.  Ergo, I enjoyed it and would watch it again.

NEXT:  The lowest-budgeted/cheapest "B" or "Z"-grade movie you've ever seen.

Alex Nicol.   He got stuck playing second leads in many Universal movies.  I've always suspected that there was real talent behind his supporting roles.
