TheMalteseFalcon
These boys really deserve a great DVD collection! Who can forget Leo Gorcey and Huntz Hall?
littleone
When I was a pre-teen there was a local station that showed their films. My dad and I would watch and he would tell me about being a boy and seeing them when they came out. Good memories Message was edited by: littleone
scsu1975
TCM showed most of their films several years ago. Maybe they will bring them back.
molo14
I've always loved their movies. I have most of them on dvd. While Leo and Huntz were key to the group, I will always have a soft spot for Bobby Jordan. He was the youngest of the original Deak End Kids and he was drafted into WW II and eventually phased out of the gang by taking a back seat to Hall and Gorcey who had developed a great comic chemistry. Jordan showed a talent for comedy on his own in films like *A Slight Case of Murder* and *Off the Record.* He was rather tragic and died young from alcoholism. Dead End Kids, East Side Kids, Bowery Boys, They went through a lot of transformations but kept right on working. There is a Bobby Jordan Fan site that is pretty good. http://www.bobbyjordanfansite.com/index.htm The thing is that the guy who runs the site (check the forum) believes he's been in close touch with Bobby's ghost for the past few years. Kind of spooky.
scsu1975
Interesting site, except for the Reptilian Nazi Space Invaders theme.

molo14
You should check out the personal stories section. Interesting what you find on the web a combo of Dead End Kid/Paranormal. Now I'm scared. I don't want to go back there but I like the pictures.
