cjrogan2003
Most films made after 1965 lack class, value and sophistication. I for one fail to understand how The Naked Gun, Austin Powers, Fletch, The Blue Lagoon, Splash, Parenthood, A Fish Called Wanda and Dick Tracy are classics, but they are all scheduled. Those are movies you can find on AMC, NOT on TCM! And Fox Movie Channel? BLECCH! Tyrone Power, Betty Grable and Alice Faye no longer appear, and when they do, its the same film they repeat over and over and over again. Instead of seeing great classics like Blood and Sand, Crash Dive, Captain from Castile, Hello, Frisco, Hello, Week-End in Havana, The Shocking Miss Pilgrim, Mother Wore Tights and The Dolly Sisters, we see tripe like The Omen, Die Hard, Home Alone 2, Speed, Revenge of the Nerds...you get it. So what is happening to TCM?
classicsfan1119
You know, CJ, I'm living for the day when I'll open one of your posts and see that there's something you like about TCM. ****, ****, ****...that's all you do! If you can't find anything good to say about TCM, why do you watch it...and why do you post at this site?

classicsfan1119
Well, thank you, CJ! That's a start! It would be nice to see you compliment TCM as much as you seem to enjoy bashing them once in a while, so please don't stop here. ML
stellabluegrl
Oh, what a surprise!! CR is complaining again! You really are something CR. My 13 year old son who has just entered that "wonderful" stage of his life where he suddenly knows everything--walks around the house in a perpetual state of moodiness etc. is STILL more positive and understanding than you. Why don't you try to stop being so negative all the time...for your sake, and others.
