Terrence1
Well, Starlit, that may have been just a guess, but you're spot on! What a nice compliment to pay to that beautiful singer. It's now yours.
starliteyes
Although Judy Garland does not sing one note in The Clock, there is a scene in the film where a song that she introduced in an earlier movie is heard playing when a radio is turned on. Name the song and the movie it’s from.
starliteyes
The song was nominated for an Oscar.
MilesArcher
Just a guess. Is it "Our Love Affair" from "Strike Up The Band"?
starliteyes
That would be a very good guess! Yes, when Judy Garland and Robert Walker are riding in the milk truck the song being played over the radio is "Our Love Affair." Your thread, Miles. MilesArcher
Thanks, Starliteyes. Here is a similar question. As we all know, John Payne was a versatile actor, starring in both musicals and non-musicals. In one of the non-musicals, a song is played as background music several times throughout the movie. He helped introduce that song in an earlier musical film. Can you name the song and the two movies?

MilesArcher
In the earlier film, John Payne sang part of the song and a woman sang the rest. They were backed up by a band.
