lavenderblue19
Name 3 1950's musicals that end with a double wedding. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Guys and Dolls, Royal Wedding. We don't get to see the wedding in Royal Wedding, but at the very end of the movie, we see the 2 couples leaving the church, so we know there was a double wedding. ??? starliteyes
You got the first two right, lavender, and yes, we would all assume that the two couples at the end of Royal Wedding do get married. However, there is another movie where the two couples are married at the end with the women wearing wedding gowns. I'll give you a hint - it has an Oscar winning song in it sung by the female star. Princess of Tap
The answer is Clark Gable's co-star in Manhattan melodrama Myrna Loy.
MilesArcher
Myrna Loy is correct, Princess. The King and Queen of Hollywood actually appeared in seven movies together, all between 1933 and 1938. You're up next, Princess.
Princess of Tap
One of Clark Gable's classic starring roles in the 1930's was based on a novel from French literature which had won the Prix Femina. We need the name of the movie, the name of the novel, in French or English and the name of the French writer.
