Now, a thirties movie that featured Lucille Ball in a featured role was remade in the fifties with Anita Ekberg in the same role, albeit with a different character name to explain her accent. Can you name the movie? The original film with Lucy was Five Came Back and the Anita Ekberg one was Back From Eternity
MilesArcher
Very good, Lavender. Both movies were directed by John Farrow. "Back From Eternity" was just shown on TCM late on Friday night. "Five Came Back" was one of Lucille Ball's first major roles. RKO was obviously trying to promote Anita Ekberg in "Back From Eternity". The thread goes to you, Lavender. MilesArcher
It must be Shirley MacLaine and Dean Martin. The movies would be: 1. Artists And Models 2. Some Came Running 3. Career 4. Ocean's 11 5. What a Way To Go! 6. All In A Night's Work 7. Cannonball Run II I was also looking for Frank Sinatra movies after Princess' first answer.

Never realized Dean and Shirley made so many films together. 1, Artists and Models - 1955 2. Some Came Running - 1958 3. Career - 1959 4. Oceans 11 - 1960 5. All In A Nights Work - 1961 6. What A Way To Go. - 1964 7. Cannonball Run II - 1984 Princess got 1/2 , Miles the other 1/2. Good work both of you and thanks. You decide who gets the thread.
