DownGoesFrazier
cujas is a "she". Two siblings had long careers in Hollywood. One worked entirely in front of the camera, and one worked entirely behind the camera. Name them. Edited by: finance on May 26, 2010 10:42 AM
MilesArcher
Is it Norma Shearer, the actress, and Douglas Shearer, the MGM recording director?

MilesArcher
Ok, Two other siblings had long careers in Hollywood, one primarily in front of the camera and one primarily behind the camera. They are two brothers. Who are they?
DownGoesFrazier
James and William Cagney? Edited by: finance on May 28, 2010 10:45 AM
MilesArcher
Not the Cagneys. William Cagney gave up acting to be his brother's agent. I'm talking about a well known director and his brother, who was an actor.
SueSueApplegate
Is it Howard Hawks and his brother?
DownGoesFrazier
I'm going to file a protest with the commissioner. (just kidding)
MilesArcher
Just think of a director who had his own "stock company" and used his brother in many of his movies.
CharlieT
John Ford and Francis Ford?
MilesArcher
I guess that was a pretty bit hint. Yes, John and Francis Ford are correct. Your turn, Charlie.
CharlieT
Thanks, Miles. I was thinking John Ford, but was trying to remember his brother's name. Then I thought of The Quiet Man and... BINGO! This actor started his career dancing with his sister and went on to become well known for acting in a specific role. His sister went on to obscurity. Who were they?
MilesArcher
Is it Buddy and Vilma Ebsen?
CharlieT
It certainly is, Miles. Back to you.
MilesArcher
Ok, here's one that shouldn't be too difficult. Everyone knows, well almost everyone, that Shirley Jones worked with young Ronny Howard in both "The Music Man" and "The Courtship Of Eddie's Father". She also worked in two movies with a young actress, although not as young as Ronny. Who was the actress and what were the two films?
DownGoesFrazier
Shirley worked with Stella Stevens in COURTSHIP and THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS
