DownGoesFrazier
This actor's film career was going great guns, from the advent of sound until 1934, but despite not retiring, he never appeared in another significant film until the '60s. Who was he? Edited by: finance on Mar 20, 2011 3:58 PM

cujas
From Lee Tracy to the "Professional Virgin" Please give me the film about a "Professional Virgin" and a brief explanation of what it meant within that context.
DownGoesFrazier
Is it too obvious for me to say Doris Day in PILLOW TALK or LOVER COME BACK because the prospect of premarital sex for her characters was horrifying?
cujas
The title "Professional Virgin" actually comes up in the dialogue of this movie and is attributed to a character. Rest assured that the film in question is a comedy like "Pillow Talk" that takes place in NYC--but it was indeed a precursor to the Hudson/Day movies. cujas
Hint: the movie referring to the "Professional Virgin" was based on a hit Broadway play.

cujas
Pre-WWII Hollywood would place us around 1938-1941.
cujas
You're hot because you've probably got the Matinee idol--from the look of your guess-- But the teenage actress in question was 10 whole years younger than Miss Young.
