cujas
Linda Darnell is the correct answer--I was referring to how Linda and Gene both shared Ty as a leading man at 20th Century Fox. Fi's still up--
DownGoesFrazier
Who was Henry Fonda's most frequent female co-star, in films in which Fonda starred? How many films?
DownGoesFrazier
Hint: The answer to this one is the same as the answer to the Gary Cooper question on the other thread. Edited by: finance on Apr 5, 2011 6:27 PM
DownGoesFrazier
Fonda co-starred with this actress 3 times. (It is not Fay Wray). Gary Cooper also co-starred with this actress 3 times.I

allaboutlana
Continuing the same thought, Barbara Stanwyck starred with this leading actor in at least three movies during the late 1930s (Not Fonda or Cooper.) Name the actor and the three films.

MilesArcher
OK, another Fred MacMurray question. One of his co-stars on "My Three Sons" was William Demarest. The two of them had appeared together in a movie some years earlier. It featured an all star cast. Can you name the movie?

MilesArcher
No, I think just about everyone in Hollywood was in "Star Spangled Rhythm" except William Demarest. The movie I'm referring to had three stories tied together by a common thread.

MilesArcher
You got it, cujas. It was the first on screen teaming of best friends James Stewart and Henry Fonda. Dorothy Lamour appeared in another segment, and Fred MacMurray and William Demarest were in a segment that was reminiscent of "The Ransom Of Red Chief". Cujas is up next. cujas
This is a noir film that is based on a true story-- What makes this film so unusual is that the the central casting in the movie are real people from a similiar town as the original story. Many have lines and act in their actual societal capacity--hospital clerks, police, small-town merchants etc. To keep the reality, this movie starts with interviews with the real participants. Please name the movie.
