cujas
A tale of two brothers. The younger brother excelled in all show biz mediums--TV, Concert Stage, Movies and Radio. The older brother did TV and some movies. But ironically, the one big film that the oldert brother appeared in was the 2nd top grossing film of 1958 and was based on a novel that is the 4th biggest seller in the United States. Can you name both brothers and the older one's very successful film credit?

MilesArcher
I saw "The Man From The Alamo" on the Encore Western channel last year. Perhaps you have the same channel in your system. Now, there was an actor in "The Man From the Alamo" who also appeared in another movie about the Alamo. Can you name him and the other movie? mudskipper
That was Chill Wills, who played The beekeeper in John Wayne's "The Alamo"(1960)...I don't think I have the Encore channel. But I watched the movie from the Western Collection DVD from Universal International. This also has "Kansas Raiders", which was one of my favorite Audie Murphy westerns, together with "Destry" and "The Guns Of Fort Petticoat", when I was in grade school years ago... MilesArcher
Yes, Chill Wills was his real name. He had a son named Will and a daughter named Jill. He was also nominated for a supporting actor Oscar for "The Alamo". Your thread, skip.
