mikechum
Thank You!!!! Tonight is the first night that I have been able to see "Ride The Pink Horse" on TMC... and to see that it is followed by "Lady In The Lake"... another film directed by Robert Montgomery, who I am starting to think might be the most underrated director in films.... Thank you for airing what I consider to be one of the penultimate film noir movies.
coffeedan1927
Uh . . . I think you mean one of the greatest film noir movies. Penultimate means "next to last," which it definitely wasn't!
moviegeek3000
Ride the Pink Horse aired again last night.....one of the best Film Noir flicks I've ever seen(next to the pioneering Maltese Falcon & Big Sleep)
ken123
I can't stand this film,Robert Montgomery was a terrible actor and an equally bad director. His "Lady in the Lake" was the worst of the Phillip Marlowe (big budget) films.
FredCDobbs
You are absolutely right, and I love these two films. I don?t know why. They are so bad, but they are fun to watch. Robert Montgomery seems like a joke as a ?tough guy?. But so do I. I think he reminds me of me.
sweetbabykmd
I love Lady in the Lake, I liked how the camera was used through his line of vision showing us views we normally don't see in a movie.
