Barton_Keyes
Harvey J. Kaye, noted author and professor of democracy and justice studies at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, will join Ben Mankiewicz as a guest programmer on May 21. The theme that night is 'The Four Freedoms', which not coincidentally is also the name of Kaye's latest book. Screening that night are three features and two shorts -- THE GRAPES OF WRATH (1940, freedom from want), CASABLANCA (1942, freedom to worship God in his own way), THE CUMMINGTON STORY and THE HOUSE I LIVE IN (both 1945, freedom from fear) and DEADLINE USA (1952, freedrom of expression).

I do see a theme of 'freedom to act in ones own way' as it relates to all the main characters but I don't see where that relates to a so called 'god'.
