PrinceSaliano
In June, TCM is showing two Anna May Wong pics, DAUGHTER OF THE DRAGON and DAUGHTER OF SHANGHAI. FU MANCHU (1930) THE SEA GOD (1930) MURDER BY THE CLOCK (1931) KICK IN (1931) and other Clara Bow titles HOT SATURDAY (1932) and other Nancy Carroll titles TERROR ABOARD (1933) WHITE WOMAN (1933) and other Carole Lombard titles DOUBLE DOOR (1934) THE WITCHING HOUR (1934) PEOPLE WILL TALK (1935) and other Ruggles-Boland titles THE PREVIEW MURDER MYSTERY (1936)
molo14
I agree with your wish list! A few I can think of that would be nice to see: *Night After Night* 1932 and *Belle of the Nineties* 1934 Two Mae West films that I guess are not that rare because they are on DVD. *DIshonored* 1931 with Marlene Dietrich *Street Of Chance* 1930 with William Powell, Kay Francis and Jean Arthur The highest on my list is *The Story of Temple Drake* 1933 with Miriam Hopkins I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting at the moment. markbeckuaf
Wow, those are ALL outstanding titles!!! I sincerely hope that these films showing up in June (the two anyway), is a sign that TCM is working on that Universal/Paramount deal, to get the earlier Paramount films for viewing (pre-1950)! I can hope!!!
CineSage_jr
FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO, THE LIGHT THAT FAILED and IF I WERE KING (what's taking you so long, TCM? You've got the bloody films! Stop showing all the tired warhorses and take a good close look at the films you've leased!).
