Bafaa
Why is it that TCM will show certain movies 3 times within a 2 week period and other good movies that we've seen on TCM are shown every two years, such as "Make Way for Tomorrow" or "The Counterfeit Traitor" ? Thank you, Bafaa Message was edited by: Bafaa
PrinceSaliano
Or 4-5 years...or longer.
FredCDobbs
"The Bribe" is a very good film, rarely seen on TCM. Also "Phantom Lady". But you'll see "The Pink Panther" quite often, and again, and again, and again.

markfp2
To make the answer simple, it all depends on the deal they were able to make with the studios as to how many runs and how often they can run. them.
redriver
You bring up an excellent point. I'm more and more tempted to subscribe to Classicflix. But I don't expect miracles. I bet they don't have many of these movies.
skimpole
When was the last time TCM has "Make way for Tomorrow?" I haven't seen it since I first got TCM in December 2005.
rainingviolets21
When I was little I saw a movie called Guest in the House, where Anne Baxter played a guest who never went outside, because she was afraid of birds, she alienates everyone in the house until the wise grandmother catches on to her and forces her outside where she goes mad, when she sees birds flying about...I have waited to see this again for years and can't find it anywhere... FredCDobbs
I'd like to see "Japanese War Bride" again. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044764/ Also: "Riso Amaro" I haven't seen either one since '52. Message was edited by: FredCDobbs
markfp2
As far as I can remember, TCM has never shown it. It did run on AMC years ago before they made their pact with the devil. I know because I still have a VHS of it.
scsu1975
Has anyone ever seen Adventures in Silverado? It was a western made in the 40s, and I saw this all the time as a kid. I remember the male lead had a stagecoach, and each of his horses was named after a state (Colorado, Utah, etc.) It is in the TCM database, but I don't know if it's ever been shown.
