Not easy to imagine, and certainly not one of the high points of his career, but strangely compelling at the same time, especially in what was sadly such a mess of a movie.

> You're welcome re: Coop video. I just know Grimes appreciates Gary; he's just too stubborn to admit it.

I think Grimes appreciates more than he lets on. ;)

Howdy, Mrs. Bellamy -- Can you seriously deny the movie star/hunk status of this man:

That video seems awfully familiar. I wonder why...

Yes, I can deny Mary Cooper and her make-up.

If you've seen THE MALTESE FALCON once, then I completely ignored the box

of raspberry donut holes sitting on my desk at school this evening and they're not

in my refrigerator right now waiting for me to rip into their doughy, juicy little bodies.

Now that killed me! But it's my truth to your "truth." I've said over and over, "I'm new to

classic film." I have only seen The Maltese Falcon once.

So you're saying that Veronica provides the unconditional love that Raven never

had growing up? But he's a sociopath, lol. The only reason he "responds" in any way

is because it's Hollywood. (and filmed during WWII)

You could say "it's Hollywood" for most films, Izzy.

Ellen "mothers" Raven. She comforts him.

I'd throw Bruce's mother out on her behind, and he'd cheer me.

A mama's boy won't cheer that. He'd be angry.

Hello dahlink! It's the "RESCUE ME" one, with all the delicious Desire, Love in the Afternoon

and Jonesey clips. You really are great with those---any word on the editing opportunity you

mentioned?

That?s one of my favorite songs so it was fun to make the video for it.

I haven?t heard anymore about the young, aspiring filmmaker but you never know, I might hear from him one of these days. It?s enough for me that somebody thinks I could actually edit original, raw footage :).

I?ve always got more video ideas cooking so I?ll keeping churning them out. I want to make one using the James Bond theme *Thunderball* sung by one of my faves, Tom Jones. With the magic of editing I bet I could make Gary look like Bond, James Bond :P.

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Best of luck with that project! B-)

Keep us posted, it sounds promising.

NOW you're talking! I love that song, in fact it's just about my favorite Bond theme song!! I can't wait! Are you going to use clips from The General Died at Dawn? I can see those fitting in well.

I?m definitely gonna use clips from *Cloak and Dagger* and *The Fountainhead* (he looks very ?Bond? in the tux) and *GDD* might also fit in well. If you got any more suggestions, throw ?em at me.

Tom Jones has a new album coming out in November and it's supposed to be more like his old stuff. I can't wait!!

Oh, *Love in the Afternoon* is perfect!! I?ll definitely use some from that one, thanks! Of course I have *City Streets* ;), and he looks just like James Bond in the very last scene and Kim, Theresa, and I have joked about that before. The quality isn?t that great though so I was gonna see if I could get enough clips from the better ones.

I sense underneath your placid, wise, intuitive, gentle vanilla exterior

lies a black flapping Lovecraftian blood-eyed, sharp fanged demon with hellish plans to decimate all enemies and dominate the world. It is seething with unresolved repression and rage, and is lying at the bottom of your soul waiting to be unleashed in all its hideous glory.

To get rid of this monster, watch UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN every four hours.

But don't call me in the morning.

Sorry about Mike, Mrs. D. He is indeed gross, but harmless, so don't worry -- the only headless individual you have to worry about chasing you and giving you nightmares and sleepless nights is our very own Pennsylvania Horseman with the Smithy moustache.

I tried (unsuccessfully) to upload a pix of Torin Thatcher. He's the British character actor with a resolute and sinister expression, with a wide resume but who might be more familiar to us Yanks in fantasy stuff, like JACK THE GIANT KILLER, THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD, etc.
