MissGoddess
I just don't think it's ladylike to tell Chris he's full of baloney. Maybe I'm old-fashioned to your modern ways. I never even implied any such thing about Chris and he KNOWS it. You're the unladylike one, Ranse. Stop hiding behind that apron. She knows wrong then. And don't get me started on your dislike of Greer Garson. Nice try but it _won't_ work. There you go again, looking to others so that you don't get your precious little hands dirty. Minya
*I thought the kids and day-long chores would tire you out.* Naw. My friend Angi and I went to see Radiohead in Vancouver BC (two hour show in the rain-my shoes are STILL wet) and then drove to Auburn (near Seattle) to see them again. The shows were fabulous (in fact, if you don't know much about them go from here to youtube and watch Pyramid Song, Everything In It's Right Place and There, There- the first song is one that they rarely do in concert and I was very happy to finally see it live) but I don;t have the bounce back that I used to. we didn't get home until about 1:30 in the morning and I had to get up for work at 5:45. This was after getting about 2 hours asleep in Vancouver because Angi snored so loudly I eventually had to sleep in the tub with the bathroom fan on to drown out the sound of it. I'm a very light sleeper. *Precisely. And you didn't even make it to see his cameo. What a supportive wife you are.* I'll make up for it when the band is here next month. He will know how perfect I am for him.

Hi ButterTea, I had heard a year or two ago about this project, so it's really happening? Anthony Hopkins as Hitch should be interesting. I will go see it. Frank Grimes will want to see how a Psycho is made so he can refine his own technique.
Minya
*For a girl who sleeps in tubs, that's very mature of you to say.* I'd say it's *because* I sleep in tubs that I am so mature. *But it's not a good sign when someone says they wish their spouse to be "out on tour."* Strictly speaking, that was just in the fantasy sense. Oh dear, that doesn't look right either! What I meant was that I'm not really that trusting either and I've done the long distance thing. It sucks, to be blunt. But I am definitely not of the "I need to be around my significant other ALL the time" variety either. *Would you have worn your red dress at your party? You'd risk a BBQ mess?* I'd risk a lot for this dress. What are you trying to say? That you think I'm messy?
JackFavell
Minya- A friend of mine burned me a Radiohead CD and I haven't listened to it yet.... you are making me feel like I should go check it out. I know it will be good if Nick Cave's significant other recommends it. P.S. I think you are quite the most sensible person I've run into on the subject of marriage. Enjoy your "me" time... Bronxie- On the same subject, My husband and I realized yesterday that we are "the fat one and the thin one". We thought it was terrifically amusing that L&H day fell on our anniversary. Sad to say, our relationship is exactly like Laurel and Hardy's. I'm not saying which one I am.....but I will say that this is the kind of pithy self-analysis you partake in when you've been married too long.....
