TripleHHH
Can you think of some of the missed opportunities for both actors, directors, etc in classic films...things that never happened, that you would have loved to have seen happen For me I would have loved to have seen 1-Alfred Hitchcock director a movie with Humphrey Bogart starring in it 2-Bette Davis in Gone with the Wind 3-Joan Crawford to have maintained the role that wound up to Olivia de Haviland in Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte (Joan was ill apparently) 4-Joan Crawford & Bette Davis somehow work out their differences , put their egos aside and just say lets make a great movie together

coopsgirl
Clara Bow was originally cast to costar with Gary Cooper in *City Streets* (1931) but she had a breakdown right before filming began and was replaced with Sylvia Sidney. Sylvia did a great job but Gary and Clara are my two top faves and I would have loved to have seen them in a talkie together.
