NathanDetroit
Writer/director Tom Holland wishes to revisit his 1985 vampire film, which starred Roddy McDowall, Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale and Amanda Bearse, in the form of a special edition on both DVD and BluRay. In order to make this happen, Holland must be able to convince the "powers that be" (i.e. Sony) that such an endeavor will be worth their while (i.e. big money). So, with Holland's blessing, I created a blog, FRIGHT NIGHT FOCUS, devoted to rallying fans of this classic horror film to take action. The goal is to get as many signatures on the S.E. DVD petition as possible. Signatories are desperately needed! The main site: http://frightnightfocus.blogspot.com The tie-in: http://myspace.com/frightnightfocus The DVD petition: http://www.PetitionOnline.com/fright85/petition.html Please contribute and spread the word! Happy trails... -Nathan
CineMaven
I'll take "Firght Night 2" please. Just check out the way the lovely Julie Carmen, licks the blood off her fang slowly, with the tip of her tongue. Now THAT'S acting!
joefilmone
Great horror comedy- with a truly exciting climax.
Meanie220
Maybe it's just me but the special effects for this film were uniquely gross. Something about the flesh of the made-up characters had this weird, moist quality. It's kind of hard to describe, but that was the most unnerving part of the whole film for me. Their pink, glistening flesh. Weird movie.
Filmaphile
Roddy McDowall did a wonderful job in fright night! I think it's a very good movie.
